Christantus Uche Fuels Dominant Crystal Palace Victory at Shelbourne.
Even though embarking on their first-ever continental adventure, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding win that all but secures them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further three points in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal straight entry to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Moment
This occasion provided a chance for some of Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
